I have this chronograph for my load development and it appears to always error out when someone else is shooting close by. This happens even when the chrony is placed 15 feet away from me and the other shooters are shooting parallel to me and as far as 20 feet away. The error does not affect its ability to record my shots and MV unless we shoot simultaneously. It's not a big deal as the chrony works well except for this, but I was wondering if anyone have this same problem and more importantly a fix. |

Pretty sure that would not help as it appears that the chrony is erroring out due to the gun blast from the nearby guns. Moving it closer to me will increase the concussion it feels from the other guns in the firing line. I actually called the company today and talked to tech support and they agree as per Bowhntr6pt that this should not happen. As it is, I have had the chrony for less than 3 years and it is still in warranty and they told me to send it back to them to get it fixed. |

I send the chrony back to the company and just received it back in the mail. The Test report said "Found unit too sensitive, inspected electronics and found 2 damaged capacitors. Replaced both – tested and calibrated”. In the mean time, I also brought a used used Oehler chrono and will be receiving it later next week and so would be interesting to test both of them in line and see what I get. |

Mine was found "Too sensitive" as well.....hmmmm |
