I have a new M1A and I am curious about ammo selections.  I've read about half and half opinions on the wolf ammo, but my brother and dad have used nothing but wolf ammo for their rifles (m16,mini14) without any problems besides the occasional jam that seems to be more of a mag problem anyway

so is wolf ammo a yae, or nay?

Your going to get half and half here too.  It's your rifle, go with what your comfortable with.  Good luck with the M1A and enjoy.

The only issues I had with Wolf ammunition was the odd smell and the extra work to clean the rifle after I fired it.  It is not match ammunition, but it is good plinking/practice ammunition.  I have fired thousands of rounds of Wolf ammunition through my Glock 22, Walther PPK, M1A, CAR-15 and bolt action rifle.  Keep your weapons clean and you should not have any real issues.
