Nice work. Do you have a link on details on how it's done? It is far more complicated than a single link could provide. It took me months of research, and multiple attempts before I was successful. For those familiar with anodizing, I used approximately 18% sulfuric acid bath, with approximately 5.5 g/L of dissolved AL. I used 6063-T5 cathodes, aluminum hanging wire, approximately 12 amps/sqft, followed the 720 rule and anodizing for about 60 minutes, and used BK Excel black anodizing die. I also sealed using boiling water rather than the nickel acetate sealer, since it was just a test piece. |
