This may seem like a stupid question but it won't be the first one I've asked!
I have a Class 3 C & R license. On the form 1 I listed it where asked. Does anyone think this may speed up the process since I am already in the system? Or is this just wishful thinking on my part? |

Why is this? Unless your C&R has anything to do with the item on the form, I'd leave it off. +1. You'd only include your licensing info if your license pertains to the transfer, i.e. it's a C&R firearm being transferred. Adding your license info otherwise will likely result in the forms coming back to you, wasting more time. Your being licensed will not speed up the process. |

I had listed my C&R Number on my Form 1 application. In between the time the form was initially filled out, mailed, and received by the ATF I had renewed my C&R License. The number had changed and not wanting to hold my form up any longer than possible I called and spoke with my Examiner. She stated they generally don't even look at the FFL information especially if it's C&R unless is it required by state statue to possess a C&R FFL to possession of the Title II Firearm. After speaking with her regarding this, I don't think I will even be mentioning my C&R on my next application.
