Howdy all, I looked around and didn't see an answer to my question. I'm about to submit my first Form 1 and I need a bit of help figuring out how to have my Trust info engraved. My trust is "William Clinton and Hillary Clinton Revocable Living Trust". I understand through reading that I don't necessarily have to have the whole thing spelled out for it to be valid, but I'm not sure what would be acceptable. I'm wondering if any of the following would be acceptable or if there are any other recommendations. Thanks for your help!
WC and HC Trust City, State WC & HC Trust City, State W Clinton and H Clinton Trust City, State W & H Clinton Trust City, State Clinton Trust City, State |

I would not add anything not in the original name (no adding middle initials)
W & H CLINTON TRUST HOMETOWN, AR some folks would go a little more agressively and go for: W & H CLINTON RLT HMTWN, AR Abbreviating is legal, and is very common on city names - just check any milsurp import. |

The reason I said add the middle initial is to help keep from mixups.
Granted there probably arent many William Clinton and Hillary Clinton Trusts out there but I figure a middle initial wouldnt hurt. My trust is William Jefferson Clinton Revocable Living Trust. So for ME I would do WJ Clinton Trust |

| I just got my error letter back and it stated tha the name of the entire trust had to put in the box 4h. I had it abbreviated just like the example given by Tony K and it was highlighted on my original form and marked as incorrect. At least my examiner wants to see the entire name of the trust listed. It specifically said on the letter in handwriting. "Trust names can not be abbreviated. Must show entire name." Change in policy or just my luck to pull an examiner that likes to change rules, because if so, my trust name is 22 letters and putting everything on it will probably look like a billboard across my lower. Also the error letter had several lines they could check specifically listing things that are involved in filing trust Form 1's. Maybe they are catching on and tightening up on the paperwork trail? |

Nothing needs to be in 4H. 99.9 of the Form 1s and Form4s are approved with nothing in them. But.... if you put it in 4H then you must engrave it exactly. |

Everyone of my Form 1's have went through w/o a problem with my Trust name abbreviated with what's engraved on my receivers on line 4h.
