I use Permatex brand and a type specific to what I'm intending not to seize (nickel, copper, etc)

I just picked up some Permatex copper anti-seize to try out. Kinda wish I had seen the Griffin post first, but I'm sure it'll be fine.

What are you putting anti-seize on?

This may be a stupid question, but what about using white lithium grease like we use between a barrel extension and an upper receiver?

This is what i bought after having my suppressor lock up after leaving it on after a range trip.

My BFS got my suppressor white hot and had this shit dripping off like melted butter!!

That's what I got. Yea it's expensive but the size container will probably last a lifetime. And not dealing with the mess of the metal based stuff is worth it.

This is what I've been using. I put it on all of my MB where the taper touches and on anything that has threads.

SSL certificate expired 2 months ago.... seems sketchy.  Of course McMaster-Carr took an order with no idea what shipping would cost

McMaster Carr always does that with shipping.  They are G2G.  Shipping has always been reasonable, IME.

Yeah and while you are there you could buy a strap wrench, O-rings, or shims, or 1/4x28x 1/4" screws to limit pretravel or any number of things.  Most of the time there is something worth grabbing at Mcmaster carr.

I didn't notice that.  I bought mine on that site maybe two years ago, and with a bottle that size I figured I'd never have to buy it again.

No worries man, it showed up when I tried to checkout - just went McMaster-Carr and hope for the best on shipping cost.  Agreed - I have a much smaller can of some never-sieze stuff my dad gave me some 30yrs ago...still plenty left!

I like the Loctite copper anti-sieze sticks. A little expensive but very convenient to throw in my range bag.

The copper kind is what Silencerco told me to use when I was having a problem disassembling my 3 lug mount.

The Griffin Armament Revolution 3-lug mount works on the Octane and takes a significant amount of length off the can.

Yep, the metal stuff goes a long way.  I end up bringing it in the house and finding it in places I didnt know I touched.  The damn dog had some on a eyebrow the other day. Im working on a RS6 and everything on that car needs some.
