| I have occasionally gone over there to see what "crossover" gear these guys are using, to see if it would be useful for real steel. Now I am looking more into setting up for airsoft/milsim events. They seem to be queer for a lot of Tokyo Marui and Hao stuff. Has anyone used it, recommend it? |

I might be biased, but I like Tokyo Marui engineering and their MWS seems to be one of the better performing gas blowback platforms. I can't comment on HAO because they're pricey. A friend of mine has some of their kits and I've heard of issues with the bolt carrier rubbing on the upper receiver, which they remedied by creating a sacrificial sticker. |

No experience with Hao or the TRH, but it's no surprise they have a hard on for TM. I played airsoft in the early 2000s, had nothing to do with until last year, and it seems like the whole industry has changed. It seems the only constant over the last 20 years has been TM. They've stayed at the top of the list while a lot of the traditional go-to brands have fallen by the wayside. Tokyo Marui stays at the top of everyone's list in every category of airsoft gun. |
