Given the prices for a good revolver in .44 Magnum or even .357 Magnum the price for a Smith & Wesson .500 isn't bad!
But the ammo is another story. Feeding one of them can be expensive. I use a Dillon 550B to load 9mm, .45 auto, .38 & .357 magnum and .223 Rem for an AR. All of those are big explosion going off very close to ones head but a .500 Magnum is HUGE! That's a lot of powder in there. Does anyone here reload S&W .500 Magnum or any 1/2 inch bullet? How many times can you-would you reload a .500 magnum? Does a nickel plated case last as long as a brass only case? Any comments? Thank Yous VonBark |
