I know it is only a concept video, but check out the lock control mid way through the video. If you could incorporate that into the gun safe mechanism, no one could access your guns but you and you could still open it in a flash.

Samsung just announced they are coming out with a bluetooth smartwatch too that will be able to automatically open bluetooth enabled locks ;-) |

While cool, someone has been watching Iron Man a little too much. That kind of integrated HUD is still a ways off. As far as integrating into my home locks or safe, no thank you. While I do believe in layers of security, I believe that this could be defeated. We're not far off from serious malware, viruses and hacking into the smartphones. |

Lol ... yes, I have been watching IronMan a little too much. And, although the HUD is not possible right now, I would be happy to be able to type in the keycode right on the screen ... or even have a bluetooth proximity sensor automatically open the gunsafe. I always have my watch on, so it would always be ready for me in an emergency situation ... |
