I just ordered 1000 m855 machine pulled and resized bullets from hitech.  Anybody have any experience with these?
I also ordered 1000 air pulled 855 bullets. The machine pulled bullets are a little cheaper so if they are just as good I'll just buy them from now on.

I had a bunch one time that looked kind of like crap but shot OK.  I usually shoot this round at 50 yards with an aimpoint.  I usually shoot 50 shots in about  1 -1.5 inch from the bench. The pulled bullets shot pretty much the same as new ss109 bullets. I was surprised and happy with them.  The farthest I shot them was 50 yards so I can't comment on any longer ranges. They may suck at longer ranges but I can't tell you. The ones I had, had deep pull marks on them and were not resized. Still had the green paint on them.

Depends upon how much they're damaged by the process.  I use to buy 55grn M-193 pulled bullets for $19/K that you couldn't tell from new.  I thought they were a good deal at the time and I've still got over 16K of them.  They shoot with the same or better accuracy as M-193 ammo (depending if I reload them carefully).  However, over the last few years, all I've seen is crap that looks like they pulled them with a set of vice-lock pliers; all scratched and bent out of round and selling for way more than they're worth.

I shoot the machine pulled SS-109 bullets they sell.

They shoot fine.

Just don't expect them to group like match bullets.

Save some money, don't worry about the pull marks.

Rocky Mountain Bullets sells those too in lots of 1000's....never have bought any yet.  The price is pretty tempting.  My question is:  where in hell do they find that many bullets to pull???????

When a manufacturing lot of ammunition is rejected by QC, they don't just throw that stuff in the trash.  While I don't know the procedures they use at Lake City, those rejected lots are [i[probably[/i] sold off as scrap to specifically qualified firms.  Some of those firms just grind the stuff up, but others pull the bullets and sell off the primed cases.
