RPD - I believe there are approx 40 transferable RPD's.

PKM - I have heard of one 1976 dated Russian PKM, a PKMS Vietnam bring-back and a couple of transferable PK's.

Stechkin - I recall one being sold in '70's for a couple grand. Also, they're on the C&R list so that would tend to indicate that there is at least one out there.

M16A2 - I've heard tony_k say that there are approx 2000 with "transferrable" status.

PPS-43 - They're out there (both C&R and rewelds) but I haven't any idea as to quantity.

M249 - From what i understand there apparently are a couple.

FAMAS
- Don't know.

DP28 - Don't know.

SG43 -  Don't know.

There are 13 legally transferrable M249s.  They go for ~$250k/ea

I saw a RPD. Man, it was tempting, but the price tag was not so much.

I have seen all of these guns for sale except the Stetchkin. You picked a list of VERY expensive transferables though. The DP28 and the PPS-43 are  the cheapest at around $20K.

I've seen all of them except for the FAMAS.  Thought those didn't come in until 1989..?

As usual, Osprey21 delivers.

Thanks a lot guys...I read an unconfirmed report that there is a transferrable Stechkin in the US...and by "a" I mean only one.

You could always trade your M60 and MP5 for one...

Just kidding.

Jump on any DP28 at 20k!!  The one in the Maine auction went for 65K plus buyers premium.  The hardest gun to find in this family is the RP46; a belt fed version of the DP.

I think the really impossible gun to find is a factory transferable MP5.  Rumor has it that 2 made it in before '68.
