I got a deal for $129 /1,000 round crate . At that price ,I decided to give it a try . Of the first 300 used so far ,I've had no jams . I'm using them for plinker ammo in my HK-91 ,so your results will vary . I have noticed some occasional rounds with a rumpled un-uniform area on the rim of the case neck . About ,1 round of 40 . Don't expect to shoot any matches with this stuff. It's the dirtiest and least accurate surplus ammo I've used so far . So dirty ,the inside of my rifle looks like there was black powder in the cartridges . My 1.5 inch 100 yard groups with Port turned into 5 inch with this stuff . So far I've only used Port ,Aussie ,South African ,and Argentine to give you an ideas . If you can get it real cheap ,it's worth it to plink with . I haven't had any function problems ,it's just dirty and not real accurate . I want to try some Salt Lake ammo next . Anyone tried it ? (Just because it's made in the US ,that doesn't tell me it's any good ) |
