I'm looking to get a storage/travel bag to keep my gear in. I'll have a helmet, JPC and a pistol belt. Maybe a few other small things, but thats about it. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but I don't want shit. What would you guys recommend?

Ive been looking for one myself lately.. have it narrowed down to the Tactical Tailor rolling duffel, but that might be a little large for your needs. 5.11 offers some smaller ones which might work for you; I have no personal experience with them, however based on reviews they aren't the most sturdy of bags. I do have 5.11's range bag and it has held up fine for about 5 years.

How about a parachute/ Flyer's Kit bag from LBT?

For personal stuff, I use an older High Sierra Canvas duffel bag.

Firefighter turnout gear bags work well too. Heavy duty enough to haul stuff like that but lacking the "$" associated with a "tactical" designation.

It won't see a lot of use. Mostly just from vehicle to work and such. Nothing major.

Very true. I have a couple when I was in the fire service, but definitely be careful where you put 'em, especially if you're gonna keep them in a vehicle or something. Wouldn't want anyone to think you have $2000 worth of bunker gear lying around.

I bought an LBT 3 wheel bag, on sale 100 bucks.  It will store all my gear, with me wearing it.  LMAO

I then bought an LBT large Flyer bag, 30 bucks on sale.  It holds my chest rig, boots, odds and ends, some shooting gear, boots, gloves.

Both have their places for sure.  Look for the holiday sales on LBT gear, they run some great sales, and I don't think there is any tougher gear to be had.  Alledgedly, they have a badass warranty as well too.  Should you be able to tear it up.

This... a surplus Aviator's kit bag wherever you can find it. Shouldn't be more than $25

Great price when they were on clearance. Its big enough for my plate carrier, boots, range clothing etc in the main compartment. I have yet to load it to full capacity. Wheels are a must if you are putting all your shit in one bag.
