I have a nice Astra 400 9m.m. Largo. I also have a 9m.m. threaded barrel for it.
If you  C&R buds dont mine me asking, what is the value ?
I gotta, need another AR15 bug.

They are an interesting gun you don't see around much anymore. Well built, fun to shoot and accurate. If I saw one that looked good with the 9mm barrel at around $300 I'd buy it. More than that would depend on extra magazines and a holster.

Strange enough, original Astra 400 holsters are not that easy to find and can command as much or more than the gun.
I have been looking for a decent one at a good price for some fifteen years now.
Condition is everything and Astra 400 pistols can go between $200 and $400 dollars @ retail. HTH

I don't see these things sell....nor do they seem that common. I can't decide whether to sell mine or not. I'm not going to shoot it, just seems like a neat piece of history.

Not selling mine for a while.

I use just any sort of brass that is the right length (9x23mm)  I shoot USPSA (aka IPSC) so I pick up all kinds of brass that will work in this gun once the brass is run through a 9mm largo die:

I use:

9x23 Winchester brass
9mm Supercomp
38 Supercom
38 TJ (Hornady)
38 Super Rimless

It all works just fine.

I use the very-conservative Winchester 231 data from the Speer reloading manual (only manual I know of with data - and it even mentions the 400 and it's issues).
