I am interested in a strap similar to the one below, but can't find any options online. My GoogleFoo is not strong today

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't even need the sling, just the part shown in this picture. I think my blackhawk sling will click right in there

I think that's the older style Urban ERT sling before they redesigned?  Other guys here can confirm or set me straight.

Can you id this one perhaps?

I am not sure about that one.  It looks like it could be one of the Urban adapters with a regular old bungie single point.  Urban has several adapter options for various guns that might fit.

By the way, I added the AUG Urban ERT link up above for easy reference.

The only problem is that the image they're using on this page depicts a STG-556, not an AUG.  I'm not sure how they'd get the sling to secure to the stock given that the A3 has a rail that runs almost to the ejection port and is pretty much flush to the stock.

Newer Urban ERT single point sling.

It does cover the stock take down button.

And is pretty well useless on a CQC or A3 with the long rail.

Why so? I briefly ran a single point setup on my A3 using an adapter like that. It's a pain, but the adapter can be slid further forward on the stock and run under the rear of the rail. It also doesn't cover the takedown button when done that way.
Ditched that setup once I decided I didn't care for getting the crotch and chin whacked with the ends of the rifle. Since I'm no moron, that's why I said briefly ran that setup.
And being 0430 and at work, what is the long rail A3 you referred to?

The long rail is the Steyr military rail that is higher and extends all the way back to the ejection port.  The CQC, has a similar rail.  Both of these are flush with the stock and don't have space to fit a nylon strap under them.  Here's a pic...

Gotcha, thanks. I had forgotten that the weathervane high rail was also longer than the standard piece. Although I would be surprised if the nylon adapter could not be fit between it and the stock. It's not an easy fit with the standard rail, but can be done.
