Does anyone have the obscure little tool used to get the @#!!& extractor plunger into the bolt to replace the extractor claw on a FAL? If so, can I borrow it? I'm getting no love from the bolt I'm trying to work on - I've been at this for a while, and don't seem to be able to get the damned thing all the way in.
Any physical assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. |

There is a guy over on the FALfiles who showed how to make a homemade extractor tool. It's too late in the evening for me to do a search. I'll look tomarrow and see I can find the link.
I've done it by hand once, but is was a pain in the ass. You have to brace the bolt and use some sort of hooked tool to pull the retainer back. helps to have 3 hands also. |
