Haven't seen anything recently about the BattleComp.  I'm thinking about putting one or the other on a XCR 7.62x39 (along with having ADCO flute and cut/pin).

From my research, it sounds like they both perform well, but the FSC seems to be louder.

I doubt I could go wrong with either one, but is the BABC worth twice the price?

Yes, I've seen that video. As well as one using an M1A SOCOM.

I've also seen some threads on other forums, but they all seem to be 2 years old. I saw Stickman post that he was doing a comparison between multiple devices but didn't find the actual comparison.

Everything I see points towards the BattleComp being better than the FSC.  What I don't see is whether people feel it's $100 better. And since I don't see muzzle devices as something my life might depend on, I don't mind saving money if I can.  At the same time, I'm getting it pinned on, and want to make sure I'm making the right choice.

I normally shoot at an outdoor range, but the bays are relatively narrow with berms on each side. If the BABC has significantly less concussion to save my buddies' ears, that may be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back.

If they were equally priced, I'd go BABC, but I balk at the extra cost.

So, do you have experience with both to help me decide where to spend my money?
