I have a close friend that wants to buy a BAR semi auto. It seems the Ohio Ordnance is the way to go. They list the price at $3800. Does anyone know if an FFL can get a discount and if so how much?

Thanks
Paul

FN has the FNAR that is a BAR system with different round mags for a lot lower price.

Yes but it looks nothing like the WWII BAR that is what the OP is talking about.

I happen to have a 1918a3.  I found it at a pawn shop for a sweet price.  It is built perfectly and works flawlessly.  Ohio Ordnance does not or did not discount as they sell all they make.  They do have good customer service and sent me a manual and parts asap when I called.
