How long has BCM been threatening to stop the free BCG?
I've gotten two emails from them saying "only days left" and it's been about six weeks. I'll admit I bought into the panic and bought one because it's a good deal but really how long have they been sending these emails for? Seems like they have been offering the free BCG for six months or so now. So are they really planning on stoping the "free" BCG or is it a marketing tactic? |

Well since they said "only days left" for the last 6 months or more, Id say it's a marketing tactic.... I don't know that to be true. Doing searches for different things I've found mention of the free BCG as long as 6 months ago. How long they have been saying "only a few days left" I'm unsure and questioning. |
| truthfully if it weren't for the free BCG, i wouldn't have bought a BCM upper. PSA sold a very similar upper and it included a CH for about $150 less than i paid for my bcm, but it was OOS, but if it were gonna cost me $300 to go bcm over PSA, i wouldn't have bought a bcm, so i doubt it's really going away soon. they'd just be shooting themselves in the foot as far as i'm concerned. the price of their uppers are now very reasonable when you include the bcg. |

Id agree the free BCG VS PSA CHF that I was looking at basically made the difference between the 2 $50 ish (after you add the BCG to the PSA) thats what sold me if they didnt have the free BCG (and the compensator) id have went with the PSA to be honest. |

I bet it will be around for a while. |

Now you have to add a bcg+ch for $70 that's not a huge price increase if you had to add the CH anyways, but then it becomes a matter of do i need another gun fighter, or will a milspec one from PSA be good enough? seeing as the psa is probably even more significantly less expensive now. $200-300 is a good chunk of change. and truthfully for most of us, psa premium stuff is more than high enough quality. |

I wonder if my post had some impact with the integrity of BCM So now you have to buy what was a $39 charging handle and pay $30 for what was the same package prior.... Interesting .... |
| If you go to this page, it shows at the top in the banner that it includes the BCG and Comp. I am currently waiting for an upper to come back in stock to purchase and I was doing that due to the deal on the BCG and Comp. May go elsewhere if they got rid of it. |
