My Springfield M1 has been backordered by the CMP. They said to check back in a few weeks. I move in 3 months and 4 days, I hope it's here by then.

what model did you order? Im about to place a substantial order with them and am curious as to whats causing a holdup

I had to wait a long time when i ordered a Springfield service grade. Im talking more than 3 months. I never figured out what the hold up was all about. But it was worth the wait.

The e-mail I received said "short term backorder" whatever that means.

That's pretty amazing. I got mine in 17 days from mailbox to Fedex truck.
