No, I don't really shoot it in this configuration (I've got an A2 stock for it as well.), but I think it looks extra evil in this configuration. Just a lil sumthin for the Dems.  My JLD PTR-91KP (Kurtz Paratrooper). 16" HBAR, Hk33 wide forearm, JLD all metal bipod, original Hk G3 mags. Bolt carrier is also stamped Hk.

damn... you're making this hard on me. I just got one of those 2 weeks ago with an FMP bolt and been thinking about trading it for an MP5 clone.. maybe not anymore though. how's it handle with the A2 stock? I've been debating if I should go MP5 clone, keep this, or get the 18" fullsize G3 clone. |
It's heavy either way, there's not much a weight difference between the 2 stocks really. |
Yeah, figured all the weight's in the front anyway. this stock is gettin a little painful after 2 range visits. How do you think the accuracy is compared to, say, the tactical or A1 models? |
| Hopefully if all goes well, my CETME will look like that by the end of the week. I have a stock and wide HG inbound. Only issue is I have to refinish the wide handguard. Plan on upgradeing the trigger group with mroe US parts ( Navy complete CETME lower from JLD ) and then chopping off the CAI brake and adding a flash hider.. |
