Hello everyone,

I'm curious if anyone has had hands on the new 2025 version of the B&T RBS (maybe SRBS?) can.

Here's the B&T page, along with the Capitol Armory page for, I think the same suppressor, although the length and weight don't match up between the two...

https://bt-usa.com/products/print-x-rbs-762-ti/

https://www.capitolarmory.com/bt-slim-line-rbs-srbs-titanium-762-rifle-silencer.html

As far as I can tell, I don't think this can has the Inconel blast baffle like the Print-XH series, but I'm honestly not super sure, B&T's product page data is thin, and their new product release cadence and naming structure is very confusing.

Anyway, I've been waiting for an order with my local dealer for an ODB TI Hub to fill for 3 months and just bought one of these on a bit of a lark to fill the lightweight, low back pressure gap in my collection in the mean time.

I guess I'll find out how it does sooner than later for the $850 asking price, but has anyone had any experience with this new model to date?

Not that model, no, but I have the SRBS 7.62 Inconel which, I believe, is very similar just in a different material. I agree that it’s very tough to keep up with what B&T is doing. I’ve been very impressed with my SRBS, which aside from being a little longer than I’d like, performs very well, even on a 10.5 5.56. Not the absolute quietest can, but decent suppression with low backpressure. It really shines on my AR-10.

The can finally arrived to my doorstep yesterday, overall a decent experience with Capitol armory. I took some initial weight pics with and without the Xeno mount, as well as a starting baffle pic and immediately took it out with my SFAR to put a few rounds down range before it got dark.

Wound up shooting 17 rounds, mostly single round in the mag to tune my gas block and then came back in. The can sounds decent, a little boomy, but runs the SFAR much better and I had to turn the gas up a bit. I'll have to try it head to head with the Nomad TI I've been using to see what the difference is to the shooter.

Unfortunately when I got back from shooting I saw that looks to me like a crack in the can, doesn't seem to follow layer lines, and since I didn't do a very good inspection when I got the can, no idea if it was there or happened after shooting. No sign of a baffle strike or anything like that, I emailed B&T to see what they say last night

That’s a bummer, let us know what they say…I’m sure they’ll take care of you. Interesting that the end cap and blast baffle are noticeably different than my SRBS 7.62.

Just a quick update, B&T customer support replied the next morning after the night that I sent in the pictures. Communication has been excellent and they sent a shipping label so they can check it out and if needed discuss options with me. This is my first printed can and I'm not sure if a printed can like this can be repaired if it's determined to be damaged, hopefully a new stamp won't be required.

That is interesting, I'm honestly not sure what the difference between the SRBS 762 and RBS 762 are. Do you have any pics of your end cap and blast baffle? Also this one doesn't actually appear to have a removable emergency end cap, it looks to be printed with the rest of the can.

Here’s the end cap, don’t have one handy of the blast baffle but it’s in my video.

Update time, I got word from B&Ts service department yesterday that the can was confirmed to have a crack and that they'd have to destroy it and send me a new one. The good news is that they are sending a new can for free as well as covering the tax stamp and transfer fee to my local dealer (which is kind of high).

Altogether it's a bummer that the can had a fatal issue when new, but I do think B&T has handled the situation excellently, about as well as anyone could hope for, and has been very communicative along the way.

Sucks about the crack but it does sound like they are going to take care of you.

When you get it back i would really like to hear how it stacks up to the Nomad Ti. Especially sound, gas and backpressure. I also have a Nomad Ti so it would give me a good comparison.

Is that an A-10 i see in your safe? Could you role that into the same comparison with the Nomad Ti and your new can?

That’s my safe, and yes I have both A-10s. Here is my review; it’s noticeably higher backpressure than the SRBS  7.62. I don’t have a Nomad Ti but I do have an Enticer S Ti; Enticer is longer, lighter, quieter, and higher backpressure than the A-10.

Update time:

4/18 - B&T confirmed my can needed to be replaced
5/12 - B&T received the replacement can from their factory/producer and filed the form 3
5/30 - Can shipped to my dealer
6/6 - submitted my new form 4
6/18 - approved
6/20 - picked up

The replacement wound up taking longer than I hoped, but I have the can back in hand now and put a few rounds through it today (no cracks). The "article number" (I think it's like a detailed part number) on the side of this can is different than my last and it's a hair heavier, I'm thinking it might be a slightly newer version of the design. B&T did ship the can back with their QD mount even though I didn't originally buy it with one, since I'll be running Xeno, that's probably going to get sold or thrown in my gun junk drawer.

After my Print-X cracked, I bought a CAT Noah, and have been using it while waiting for the Print -X replacement process to go through. Shooting them both side by side today on a 12.5" 5.56mm, the Noah seems to be a bit quieter, but also has more noticeable FRP. The Print-X seems to be lower backpressure.

Glad you’re back in business. If you don’t have any SF muzzle devices, just throw the mount on the EE. Should be able to get $200 or so for it.
