| Can I replace the barrel on my Remington 870 with a Mossberg 500 barrel (18.5 inch)? |
 The 870 on the left has a Mossberg 18.5 inch blued barrel and a SGT +2 extension. The 870 on the right has a Remington 18 inch barrel and Remington +2 extenstion. Mossberg makes an 18.5 inch barrel for the 870, and it is different than the 18.5 inch barrel for the 500. I bought my Mossberg 870 barrel from the local funshop for about $89. I should have bought the parked one, the one I got is blued and doesn't match, but she's a beater, anyways.

Where local? I need either an 18" remy barrel or the 18.5 Mossberg that fits the Remy. Can be used or new. Just trying to keep the cost down. |
