I have a savage bolt action rifle, current barrel is threaded, and is about 19.5" I'm tempted to cut the barrel down..... but down to 16" just doesn't seem like enough fun. What lengths are people cutting .22lr rifles down to? It'll have a silencer on it 99.9% of the time, and will eat about 3/4 subsonic ammo vs standard loads. I've thought about cutting it down to 10.5" (the silencer would then be about .1" from the end of the stock) Thoughts? |
