[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Barrel Threading

I need to have my 10/22 barrel threaded while I am awaiting approval from the Gov't for my AAC Pilot. I need to have it threaded .5X28. I also want it cut back a bit, to remove the front sight as it will be an optics only weapon.

Any recommendations on who to do the work?

I don't think AAC threads barrels anymore. I think they recommend Noveske.

Yep, that is what it says on their website. What about ADCO? and will AAC warranty the can if I have someone other than Noveske thread it?

You best bet to to call/e-mail AAC and ask them. That way if you have an issue with a baffle strike or something they will cover it.
