By the time I left, the rifle never would function correctly. Most of the pics you see have the gas port very close to the chamber. The later prototype had the gas port very close to the muzzle brake. I have never seen a pic of the later rifle. Don't know if the rifle will see the light of day like what happened to the M98 338 Lapua rifle. Who knows, they might actually listen to someone and take to heart the recommendations of someone who might have an idea of how to get it to work. ![]() It kicked about like the 82A1, the newer donkey dick brake tamed a lot of recoil out of the lighter rifle. But like their other rifles, the barrel extension mode of attaching to the receiver doesn't lend well to accuracy. |
