Has anyone heard if this rifle is still coming out/when? Price?
I haven't found anything online besides specs.

Geez. Probably a dead project. We were working on that on in 2004 when I was there. There was lots of functioning problems that would have been easily solved if they would just listen to people.
It was a fun rifle.

Wow, thank you 50cal! That sucks that this rifle will never be made. I like the idea of a stationary barrel in a semi. Oh well, I guess I'll just save my $ for an 82.

Serbu has a stationary barrel semi. It is a good shooter too.
Don't know if the XM500 is dead or not. Ask on the Barrett forum here in the Industry section.
