What do you think of them? I have a buddy that bought the cheapest one they make and he hates it.  What about this one? I kinda like it. Its going on a ruger 10/22 for use on prarie dogs and other long range varmints.

I have one of their 4x rimfire scopes with an illuminated ret. I have no complaints, but I only have about 100 rounds through it in the last couple days.

I've got their 3-12x "Tactical" model on my AR. I wouldn't go to war with it , but I've got zero complaints. Should be fine on a .22

I have the 4-16x50AO Varmint scope.  It's handled the recoil of a .308 just fine and is pretty clear.  Not the best glass in the world, but the deer were quite clear at 400yds.

I have the 6-24x44 scope from the same SWAT Extreme line.  I am very happy with it - the glass is decent, and the adjustments are repeatable and it tracks well.  I used it for a 4-day precision rifle class on a .308 earlier this year,  shooting around 500 rounds and dialing in tons of elevation and resetting back to 100 yard zero probably a hundred times.  I've had several other inexpensive (<$200) scopes and the Barska is the only one I would recommend to someone.

I'm actually looking to purchase the same scope for my mildly built 10/22.

p.s. Midway has it cheaper.

I bought mine at www.sportsmanguide.com for $170.00, walked into Gander Mountain today and noticed the same scope going for $249.00.  Crazy what they mark-up for money...

I have a Barska on my 10/22, it does a good job at 50 yards, at 100 it gets a little blurry though.
