I've got an 18" LRB tipped with the Smith Coast Guard muzzle break. It's gotta go. It's just too friggin LOUD!
I've been tempted to just go with a Vortex..but then these Battle Comps came out, now available in .308 so thinking about trying it out. Problem is they are too expensive to just "try". How about it...anybody out there with experience?

The adveritsement doesn't list the thread pattern of the .308 Battle Comp.  The M14 barrel has a unique thread pattern at the muzzle.

I knew that but got so excited about it I forgot.
I just emailed them to see if it's available or being considered. I'll post if they have anything to report.
Thanks Different

got one today and I just had it mounted using a nokick m14 threaded front mount base that is threaded 5/8 x 24 allowing me to use this item stock. Here's a picture comparing it to the original m1a flash hider. Its length is less but has a larger diameter. Just need some range time.

Hey Lap,
I'm waiting to hear back from Captn' at Battle comp as well. Asked about a possible group buy of M1A / M14 threaded units if they don't offer already production singles.
We'll see.

Flash on the AR version is supposed to be comparable to a standard A2 hider.
