Anyone have experience with both?

I have the PWS FSC30 on a 16" AR10.  For recoil management it is excellent, but for other shooters in close proximity, it is unpleasant to say the least.  Don't even think about going prone in a dusty environment unless you brought some kleenex and tooth brush.

How does the battlecomp compare for side blast?  Worth the $200 and change?

Isn't the battle comp more like $150 or am I thinking of a different model?

From what I've read....it's a lot more like an A2 in terms of flash, is much quieter and less punishing to bystanders than the PWS.

Personally, I'd like to get one, but at $150.....I am hesitant to spend that much coin when the PWS is $83.

$149 for the 5.56 model and $200 for 30 cal. It is worth every penny as I have tried many FH and Brakes on both 5.56 and 308 and can honestly say the Battle Comp is the best I have tried. True it does not suppress flash as well as a Vortex but much better then an A2. It does however do everything it claims and that is eliminate almost "all" muzzle climb and reduce recoil without increasing noise. It does this without "any" side blast that you get with other brakes. I don't mind the coin I had to shell out for them as they are quality kit and work as advertised.

I only have pictures of my 5.56 but the 30 cal. on my AR10 looks almost the same.

That is tempting now that the law has changed, doesn't go into affect until late July which would probably coincide nicely with return of the stamp.

Thanks....I was thinking there was some new ban on cans coming down at a national level or something.  I was thinking....."how in the heck did I miss that?".

Thanks for the info.

I'm tempted at the .308 version for my 6.8 rifles, but that sucker is long.  I have to wonder if they are going to make a 6.8 version that will be the same length as the 5.56 one.

I read they were working on a 14x1mm LH AK 7.62x39 comp.....if they're doing that, I'd say with enough interest in 6.8....they'd consider it.  Question is: what's the threshold number for them to produce a 6.8 comp?
