Sent off two Form 1's today. Hopefully if all goes well I have a surprise in my mailbox in 7-9 months.  ( I just wanted to share this with fellow gun guys)

It's a tough wait.  Seek counseling here as often as you need.

Yeah, the waiting is the hardest part, as Tom Petty would say.

I should get my first two suppressors next week if all goes well. I just put an SBR and a .30 suppressor in the pipeline a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully my first two suppressors will hold me over until they arrive.

Try to forget about them for at least six months, then you can start checking on the status.

Thanks man. I dig the Tom petty reference.... Very funny.   It took 7 months to receive my to cans. Looking back it seemed to take longer

I sent my first one in back in February for a 11.5" sbr.  I'm guessing sometime in November is when I'll see it.  I think if I sent one in for a can it would feel like a longer wait since I already have a 16" to go out and shoot.

Back in 08 my form 1 took 3 months for an SBR. I thought that was an outrageous wait. Then I bought a suppressor in 12' took roughly 7 or 8 months. I learned then that 3 months would have been a god send.

Those were the days

Now that the all seeing eye is shut down due to Obummercare, who knows when the stamp will be licked...

They cashed my check this morning. Just in time for the shut down I guess

Submitted one Form 1 (eForm), and 2 form4's (one eForm and one mailed, same day) a few days ago.

Already hating the wait...

Funny, mine was cashed today as well; sent in on the 26th. I guess they needed pocket money for the electric bill.

I need to get the Trust thing done.  I got through the interview today at APD, and they were cool enough about it, but I would certainly rather avoid all of this when I get my next lowers, and form 4s filled out.

At least they dropped the $150 fee!
