I have an FLC with zipper setup pretty much the way I want..
6 AR15 mags, 4 AR10 mags.., 2 9mm mags, extra pouch for cell.. 
heres the FLC BELT I got off EB for $7.. I did some light dusting of paint on it in Lt. Coyote I mounted up (temporarily) the 6 AR15 mag holders to see what it would look like along with the SAW200 pouch.. (ala KISS) as a waist pack.. 
with the straps up.. I can use it as a low chest pack.. 
I have a simple 3x USGI Single Layer coming in for the bottom belt/chest rig.. I only plan on using the belt pack as a belt when practicing at my local NJ range (as not look too wacky  )
any other simple and cheap ideas to finish off the BELT rig..? |

I ditched the FLC belt (as shown in Pic #2 & Pic #3 above) .. I didn't like the RIDE on it.. for $7.. no biggie..
I ordered up a Ranger Rack in 3 Color Desert (like the FLC in pic#1) 
should be here Friday.. 
I realized I was trying to re-invent the wheel with the FLC belt and suspenders.. better to start off with a complete system (aka Ranger Rack) I did get the 3x M4 single layer mag pouch in.. and that will match the RR color scheme.. should be GTG by weekend.. any other suggestion for some other pouches for the RR?? |

Heres the USGI Ranger Rack on me as a belt with the simple 3x single layer M4 pouch, frag pouch, and SAW 200 pouch..

heres a picture with the TOP part up and hooked on.. there is a nice pocket with velcro to hold it when unsnapped and dropped down.. there are 3 internal velcro pockets also inside.. 
pick of my PSA Hammer Forged M4 Upper thrown in for the heck of it..
I think the RACK is way better as you have the OPTION to wear as just a belt or up with extra space.. and for $17 and $7 SH I couldn't say no.. |
