I found with my Benelli that hanging anything off the gun like a side saddle or surefire decreased reliability. YMMV.

You bet slugger  I put a little over 400 rounds through mine a few weeks ago at a tower shoot.

Here is an old pic of the Benelli shotguns out bird hunting.

Tom Sizemore used the M3 at the drive in scene, Val Kilmer took out the guy with the HK-91 and Tom finished off the driver of the white Dodge Ram.

The Cops used Mossbergs.

One mistake? I see a few:

1. Trigger Lock
2. Unloaded
3. Ugly sling.

Oh man what a great collection of guns!!!

How do you like your Trijicon Accupoint?  I have the 3X9 and my next scope will be the 1X4.

Ugly sling? I love it! i ask for the obvious "wrongs" in the picture, not your opinion on my sling

- There is only 1 thing wrong, it's the lock. I don't ever keep any guns in my house loaded, i can load them fast enough if there comes a time where i need to.

It was nice, but the eye relief is REAL long,  so  I sold it and bought a BURRIS XTR 1-4x

Rethink your strategy.

Please do!

Try this experiment. Have someone time you.

1. Lay down in bed. At the start signal get up and retrieve your home defense gun and load it. What was the time?
2. Repeat from kitchen. What was the time?
3. Repeat from living room. What was the time?
4. Repeat from front door. What was the time?
5. Repeat from back door. What was the time?

Now time yourself or someone else running to where your home defense gun is from the front door.

Was this time faster than any of the above times? Ties go to the intruder.

I don't need to rethink anything. I feel extremely safe in my neighborhood. I think some of you are paranoid or are in a different type of neighborhood/situation than i, and would feel safer with access to a loaded gun. I am smart enough to make decisions i feel are smart in my case.

Yet another disciple of the "IT WON'T/CAN'T HAPPEN TO ME" school of thought, so it seems.

Very well. Rock on with your safe self.

If your area is THAT safe, why have a gun at all?

I didn't buy just for self defense, and if need be i can load fast enough. Why aren't you people understanding that?

Cuz some of us have taken training, and done force on force scenarios with profesionals, so we have an idea how quickly things can go bad.
