I got to try one a while back in a buddy's M14. The thing is built like a tank - it's BIG, really BIG, and bulky. It's also heavy, about 10lbs fully loaded. While the mag functioned fine the whole time (we only fired 4-6rd bursts to keep the barrel temp down) it did make me wonder how well the M14/M1A mag catch would hold up with continued use of the beast. |
