I am looking to replace the front sling swivel to a QD stud for a harris bipod, I want to use the existing holes that will be left when I remove the current sling swivel, I was thinking of getting the Stock Front Swivel, with Rail, for M14 or M1A Stocks from Fulton Armory but I am wondering if the holes will match up,  and it looks like the screws go from the inside so my question is will the screws rub or touch the OP Rod because there is not lots of room between the two.

Thanks

I got one of those rails from Fulton, it works fine.
Also consider the Rigid Rail Modification in addition.

$150 is actually more than I had in mind, and the rail seems kind of long for just a bipod
I can see that it would be quite sturdy but it's more than I need, do you know if the one from Fulton bolts right up to the existing holes? or is there a mod involved

Thanks

it does.  you just drill out the rivets on the existing sling swivel mount and bolt the Fulton Sling Swivel on.  Use some loctite.

Just recieved my bolt-on from Fulton, followed all the instruction which was not real tough just drill out the rivets and bolt on but I found that the screws were rubbing on the op rod so I had to dress them down with a file about half to not rub maybe I have a oddball stock? well it looks great and adds some function by adding that short rail, will post pics when I get it all done need money to feed that M1A monkey.

Thanks for all input to my various questions on my new toy, sure does beat what I traded off to buy this with.
