Probably a dumb question.  Anyone fired 22LR birdshot through a 22LR silencer. Am I going to have baffle strikes and birdshot rattling around in my Outback II?

I don't think you'll find a manufacturer that will warranty their 22 cans for use with the shotshells. Don't do it.

Do not do this. Ever. In case the other posters didn't cover it well enough.

Just some rat shot from a plain barrel through a target  (paper)  about, say, 6".

OK guys, you confirmed that my question was a dumb one.  No bird shot for me.

Just as a reminder: bird shot starts to expand out as soon as it leaves the barrel. As I recall from a number of years ago, the pattern is around 1 inch at 1 foot. In the 5 inches or so of suppressor, it will have expanded well over the bore aperture and will strike/damage baffles.
