I set the blacksmith shop up at the maze again this year. Rough forged 2 railroad spike knives today. They are ready for grinding and hardening. Will have pictures soon.

This is a picture of the knives as forged with only a little file work on the edge. They are now ready for grinding. polishing and hardening will follow later.

A beautiful piece of work!

I'm not sure if I should make a display for it, have a leather made for it.

For anyone close by who wants to come to the maze and see me work or any of the other stuff this will be the last weekend of the year. I will be there Saturday but leaving early for my granddaughters birthday party then will be back on Sunday.
