I know they are pretty much the go to people for CW era muzzle loading stuff, but does anyone know how long it takes them to ship? I placed a order last Tuesday for some stuff for my 1861 Springfield, they e-mailed Wednesday to let me know the nipple that i had ordered was out of stock, but the rest of the order had been processed. Card was charged on Thursday, and so far no packages have shown up. I know they are in TN, so via UPS it is 2 days.....
I know I'm probably ahead of the ballgame, wanting to get this rifle shooting and all, but has anyone ordered from them, and how long did it take?? |

Sent them a e-mail, hopefully I'll hear back tomorrow.
Edit: I broke down and called them after not getting a e-mail back. Lady had a bit of trouble finding my order, and after putting me on hold twice, she found it and said it was shipped out Wednesday. So that means it should be here today. Lets hope so 
Well, no package today  this whole thing is pissing me off. I know one thing it'll be the last order I'll be making from them....

I ordered a rifle and some other stuff through them a few years back. I ordered on a Wednesday night and my card was charged on Friday morning. I waited till the following Wednesday (one week after ordering) before I emailed them and called them for my shipping number. two days later i got a shipping number and I went in and found out it hadn't been shipped until after I emailed them.
when the package arrived, it wasn't the rifle. It was just the other stuff I ordered. I emailed them and called them few times before I was finally told that the rifle was out of stock and the expected to get the shipment in "the next few days" I called back every few days getting increasingly more irritated until about a month after I ordered it, my rifle showed up in the mail. I wasn't pissed because it took so long. I was pissed that they either didn't seem to know what was going on or didn't care to tell me what was going on. If they emailed me that the rifle was out of stock and would take a while to get in from over seas , I would have been perfectly happy. But they didn't and I wasn't. I would only order from them again if I had no other choice.

I guess maybe if you have a month to waste on ordering your shit. I have a 1861 Springfield I'm waiting to shoot because I need this order before I can order the rest of the stuff I need. Maybe by summer I can finally shoot it
The thing that makes me real pissed about them is they send you e-mails from their address, and tell you something is out of stock, but yet when you send a e-mail to them no one ever answers

I got all the stuff I ordered from them pretty quick and I'm in South Texas. I ordered the complete 58 cal cleaning kit, scraper and 2 cans of musket caps they emailed me a tracking number the next day.
Order placed 10-27-2011 Shipped 10-28-2011 Delivered UPS ground: 11/02/201 Overall it was a pretty good experience I think maybe the out of stock item really screwed up your order. I ordered a spare nipple, powder measure, capper, ammo, lube and the rest from Track of the Wolf they were also very fast and emailed me tracking info but they used FedEX no problems at all. I was able to fire my 1853 Enfield 3-Band for the first time this weekend and it was awesome. My brother who knows nothing about muskets actually loved it and wants to get one now. I have 4 different bullet types to test for accuracy but this time I was just happy making it boom. |

You know, I'd understand if she would have said, oh here's your order, we'll ship it out to you ASAP. No, apparently she decides to lie to me and tell me oh it was shipped Wednesday, which it damn well wasn't, or it would have been here Friday, or Today at the latest

Ok, called them again. Give her just my name, Lady couldn't find the order in the system Told her what was going on with my order, and she told me to hold on a minute. Put me on hold, and came back and said "Oh, we have it, it will ship out today" her exact words I asked about a tracking # and she said she won't have that till it ships, asked her to have them e-mail it to me, and she said you'll get a e-mail when they send it.......
I told her what the lady told me on Friday, about it shipping on Wednesday, and she had no answer, just said you'll get a e-mail with tracking as soon as it ships
Needless to say she wasn't very friendly or helpful
So whether I see a tracking number or not is yet to be seen So I guess I'll live here on the computer checking my e-mail for next day or so, and if nothing shows by Friday, they'll get another call
Needless to say my frustration level is just about though the roof with them at this point

Says it'll be here on Thursday. Finally happy that this train wreck is done and over. As for Blockaderunner.com I'm gonna have to think hard about ordering from them again, or at least call to see if everything is in stock

Ironically, TotW I stopped dealing with many years ago because I was sure I was going to die of old age before my damned vernier sight arrived. I mean it had to have been mailed by 1st class frog or something, because the only reason it was moving was due to continental drift. Months of trying to get the thing, calling, sending mail, calling some more, cancelling the order, trying again to cancel the order, ordering the part from somewhere else because I THOUGHT track had cancelled the order as asked then waiting for a refund, calling about said refund and so on and so forth. I came home from a trip with the rifle I put the sight on after ordering the sight from another business and there, on my porch, was the stinking package with my long lost supposedly cancelled sight. It had been somewhere around 10 months since first I ordered it.
I have been told that they have turned things around and are now a great place to do business, but I haven't tried to confirm that firsthand. Cpt. Redleg |

I just placed an order for a ton of stuff from Track and it all got here in a couple of days. If anyone is going to have bad luck with deliveries it's me, I was pleasantly surprised that my order got here so quick. eta But I did buy a lot of stuff...maybe your stuff will be backordered. I just placed a $160 order with track  I ordered up balls, lube, patches, cleaning stuff, you name it.
Heck I even picked up a old CVA Arkansas Toothpick they had advertised in the used stuff.... I'm liking T of the W already

T of the W left me a voicemail today needing to confirm my shipping address, as something got messed up and it didn't come through on the order. I e-mailed the lady who was nice enough to include her address in the voicemail, and she replied back and said it would ship out today. I haven't got tracking info yet, so it probably won't go out till Monday.
Oh well, at least T of the W has good CS and you can contact them very easy. |
