| So my cheap lasermax has so much bloom I can't get it sighted in. It just washes out everything in a 3 foot circle with a dot. I get in close so I am going to have to attach whatever is used at least semi permanent. I have heard of film, any other options and how to attach it. This is for pigs if that helps |

One option- UNI-IR anti-bloom modification.
Another option- send the unit and $35 to I^2- I Squared NV to get the lens swapped out to permanently fix the bloom. Option 2 Oh, and be sure to clean the lens with those little high-tech Q-tips and make sure it's not dusty. 3 feet sounds a lot bigger than my bloom. |

That's a nice home brew filter you made. I just ordered a sheet of graduated density filter material to make a sliding, adjustable filter pretty much following your design.
Sometimes I want a very dim, precise dot, and sometimes I want more dot brightness. Maybe I'll get whatever I want. |
