I wanted my D.E. to really stand out. So this is what I ended up with. Color is KG anodized blue.
I like it but I still want to know what you guys think. Give me your honest opinions only, I can take it. ;) This is cross posted in the dead desert eagle forum. |
Looks awful!  If you really want to pimp the DE "Deagle", then at least make it all gold chrome, with tiger striping all over it. 
Also, several companies make plastic training guns in blue, and blue guns are what LE uses in training. So you don't want people to mistake this as a fake gun. |
I'd still shoot it though.

So you don't want people to mistake this as a fake gun. anyone properly trained will not take any gun as a fake, despite color. it's your gun, if you like it, then great. you definitely wont get it mixed up with someone else's at the range. |
| Very nice, but I would get it splash anodized with silver or black to finish it off. Here is a photo of my old Steyr target air rifle stock; that is paint, but should give you an idea of how it comes out. Surprisingly most people seem to quite like it and I would certainly like another rifle finished in it, but the cost is high. |
