| That's the way my Shorty AK's set up, and the way I plan to set up my next rifle: Cav-15 lower with Bushmaster A3 CAR upper (14.5" fluted barrel with permanently installed Mini-Y comp). It trims the weight a little bit and (supposedly) makes the barrel stiffer and improve heat dissipation. |
