I was trimming brass for my 308 today and I messed up and trimmed 30 pieces of brass to 2.003" instead of 2.005".  Can I still use the brass or should I just throw it away?  Im loading for accuracy.  I know my manual says min. length is 2.005" I just hope I can still use it.  Thanks guys

Will be ok for regular shooting and plinking loads.

.002 means absolutely nothing. An argument might be made for ultra precision loads but even then I would say means nothing. .005" doesn't even really affect your average load much.

Shoot the brass.  Don't throw it away, and don't worry about the affect on accuracy.

When trimming, shoot for a number just a couple or three thousandths longer than the "trim to length".  This will eliminate short cases.

The average human hair is .003.

I don't know if it's kosher or not, but I have, on occasion, re-resized a shoet piece of brass, and when the palnets are aligned correctly, it was stratched back to spec.
