I have gotten around to sortting through the .223 brass I have and have been separating the LC out and then keeping the assorted brass separate. My question would be the WCC, and other NATO brass what do you do with that? do you treat it the same as LC or keep it in a separate pile? Thanks in advance Scott |

Probably depends on what you are going to do with the brass.
Compare the brass 2 ways - - overall weight, and volume (fill the cases with water and compare how much they hold) - -if they are nearly identical, and its just pliniking ammo, and you're not loading a smoking hot load, mix them together, you shouldn't see a problem. IF, however, its a hot load at the top of the pressure range, then sort them by headstamp, weight and volume, and work up your loads for each "lot" of brass. A case with different internal volume can affect pressure, and potentially cause a overpressure situation. A load that shoots great and is safe in one brand of brass, may blow your rifle up if loaded in another brand of brass with a different internal volume. |

Thanks in advance Scott I load it with the same loads as LC brass. You didn't state the purpose of your load. Blasting / inexpensive load, SHTF, or target. Sort headstamps for target, optional for other loads. |
