So maybe I am a little late on this... I am confused.  Does Buck no longer have a contract with Stider.  Cannot find the on Buckknives.com.  Is this a stupid question, or do they no longer make them?  I still want 1

I found them at LAPolice, but not on Buck's site, so I assume they still sell them, but do they still make them?

I got mine on e-gay for $40.
This is the knife to end all my folding knives, I carry it daily.
You will not regret the buy.

I considered getting a Buck/Strider folder a few years ago until I realized the blades were 420. IMO, that just doesn't cut it as an every day use knife.

Correct.

Buck Striders are still sold but are no longer made.

I agree wholeheartedly.

For the money it should be 154CM or D2.

Even 440C or AUS-8 would be a HUGE improvement over 420HC.

The Zero Tolerance 200 is a better choice for that reason.
