Just wondering if you guys have any ideas on a good monocular for a decent price. Id want to stay under 600 bucks.

"Good" night vision and 600 bucks mix like oil and water. 1000 bucks can get you something used that is acceptable. 600 is gen1 stuff which is mostly junk. Get a good flashlight and save your pennies.

Gen 3 ENVIS units occasionally come up under $1000. They are probably the best deal going in used NV. Check the EE often. I may make a trade for one in the next few days and sell it.

Please let me know if you decide to sell it. I have one of those old Zeiss Orion scopes and would like to upgrade but have little clue on what is good for that price range.

I have not used one, but the armasight spark core gets good reviews for gen 1+ stuff. retails for less than $500 iir.

save your pennies, oyu can be into good gen 3 for about $1500 maybe less if you luck out. get a complete milspec ITT kit for 6-700 then find a used tube in the 7-800 range. will beat the hell out of any gen 1 cheap stuff.
