Asked this question one way and got no responce. I have a lower with a carbine buffer and I am going to put a noveske 10.5 inch upper on it when the paper work comes in. As far as funciton should I trade out the carbine buffer for a Heavy or H2 Buffer. Thanks for the help

from the research ive done and questions ive read you should be ok, but you will find out once you start to shoot the SBR.  If you have a problem with felt recoil, ftf or short stroking you might want to try going to a heavier buffer.  I went ahead and just got spikes ST-T2 buffer because ive heard great things about it.

Wes at MSTN built me an N4 10.5 in. upper and I asked him the same question. He said he likes the H3. If you check out the N4 Shorty complete rifle specs on the Noveske website, it lists an H2 being used in the rifle.

I figure you'll be gtg with either.

I say leave it until you get it put together, if it works then don't mess with it, if it doesn't then start changing things.

I like the ST-T2 from Spike's Tactical.  No idea if it helps, I needed a buffer anyway.....

I use a Colt 9mm buffer in all my SBR's.

I found that my Carbine buffer worked fine in my 9.25 POF and 10.5 LMT MRP uppers.  When I suppressed the 10.5 though I started to get short strokes.  So I upgraded to a H2 and that solved it.
