I need quality bullets for my 1/8 twist .223 wylde 5R 16" setup. I'm currently between the 77 and 69gr nosler custom competitions.
i do plan to use these on pigs and possibly deer. i have also looked at the 53 gr barnes tsx. my powder is 8208 xbr. any real experience with these or others would be great. |

I would suggest the 62 gr Barnes TSX. Just shot some work up loads last weekend in my AR with IMR-8208, CFE 223 and Re-15. Of these 3 powders, Barnes only lists Re-15. So how did I come up with IMR-8208 and CFE 223 loads? I used load data from my rifle with 69 gr Sierra MK's and worked up carefully. For me CFE 223 gave the best groups, with some more fine tuning ahead.
