Seems kind of quiet here.
Thought I'd post some photos.



The odd thing at the bottom was something my ex-brother-in-law gave me a few years ago.

The company he works for machines simple parts for several companies.  
He said one day he was making the cutting blade for can openers,
and the next day he was making these.  

These are the steel penetrators in APIT bullets made by Olin/Winchester.

That's actually an original M48 S/T projo, in the later ones they found that they didn't need the primer in the tip. They found that just the velocity of the round hitting would set it off, they closed it up and did away with the primer.

I've only seen one other photo of them, and it had the primer in the tip also.

Not a lot of good images to look at on the web.  
(nor is there much good information)
