.223 1/9 twist, 16 and 22 inch Armalite stainless barrels.

Where to start load development?  Hornady V-Max or Nosler BT?  What bullet weight for both close in and long range, 500 yards plus?  Wind is of course a concern.

I plan on developing my own loads probably starting with H-335.

I like the h335 for lighter bullets like 40 gr Vmax and h4895 for 60 gr Vmax bullets. This is two of many loads ready for this years trip.

I use 55 V-Max's with W748. I'm sure you can come up with a good load using H335. H335 is a damn good .223 powder and meters very well.

In wind heavier = better. Load both Vmax and Btips in 60 gr and shoot the most accurate one. My gun loves Vmax's.

V-Max 55 or 50gr & Varget for me
