Has anyone mounted this unit on their GSG? Their reviews are good, but does anyone know the difference between the I and II version???? The II's are running about $50 more. I read somewhere the first generation's are parallex-free out to 50 yds, could the II be parallex free indef? At $150-$200 including a mount, that's a reasonable price and probably better quality than the fakecogs and fakepoints being bought up, especially for something parallex-free. Here's a few pics mounted to a 9mm HK clone (the co-witness looks good);

Looks pretty slick.  I'm thinking of getting one to mount on my shotgun.

Mystery solved, I called Burris and the tech advised Fastfire II is "waterproof" as the first generation is not. Both model's are parallex-free to 50 yds.

yeah they are sweet sights. my friend has one set up on his rifle scope ring on his ar-15. sort of like an acog, but he has a 3x9 option rather than a fixed 4. LaRue tactical has a cool setup for an ar-15. iron flip sight, burris fastfireI II, a protection cover, and quick release mount for $350 not bad considering all the options, but for a gsg what you want is awesome if you feel the need to spend that- if i had the money i would have got that instead of the tru-glo reflex style mount

I could not get one to work on mine.
The hits were way too high and no matter how much I adjusted it, it would not come down enough.

Now, the same sight works great on my AR on top of a scope.
Go figure...

HAHA! I knew there was something up. That had so many deliciously sexy details that kept me rolling my eyes up and down at the five pics. He DID say it was just the optic mounted on an HK 9MM clone... realized it wasn't his or a GSG =D.

The first pic is just beautiful..the clarity and the lighting, along with the stock being half closed, that pose is wonderful...it appeals to me both as a gun owner and a photographer...
